About the Author

Park Min-jung

is an acclaimed South Korean novelist best known for her powerful feminist narratives that confront all shades of violence against women. She has received the Munhakdongne Young Writers Award, the Moonji Literary Award and the Hyundae Munhak Award, to name a few. Her numerous publications include short story collections The School for Wives (2017) and Like a Barbie (2020) as well as the novel Miss Flight (2018).

 

About the Translator

Clare Richards

is an editor and translator from Korean. Her main interest is in feminist literary fiction and her debut full-length translation, Kang Hwagil’s gothic thriller Another Person, will be published by Pushkin Press in 2023. Clare is a member of the Society of Authors Translators Association Committee, and is passionate about making literary translation accessible, particularly for disabled and neurodivergent people.
